My new skincare holy grail.
My hair is so long now I’m having to plait it to keep it out of my face, so I apologize for the primary school throwback with the lopsided hairdo.
My headband is from The Body Shop*.

Glow Mud Mask
I love a good face mask and Pixi’s Glow Mud Mask* is my new favourite. It’s perfect for a quick fifteen-minute self-care session so you can crack on with that task you’ve been putting off, like planning what to get people for birthdays or Christmas…it’s never too early to start saving and planning for Christmas. While the mask is on your face it highlights the breakout areas and dries quite quickly, it does feel a tad tight so much that I suggest you sip that gin and lemonade through a straw. After the fifteen minutes, I use an exfoliating pad to take the mask off so I’m getting extra use out of the mask itself and after I use the matching range of cleanser and tonic.
Glow Mud Cleanser
Pixi’s Glow Mud Cleanser* is the BEST after you’ve taken your make up off after a long day of work or uni. Pop your hair in plaits or a messy bun, grab your headband and wet your face with warm water and massage the cleanser into your skin for a thirty-second facial. It instantly feels like you have fresher skin in seconds and after using this cleanser day and night for about a week, you can see a difference in the amount of breakout you get. However, when I changed my skincare to Pixi I noticed I was getting a few breakouts but I think it was because I wasn’t using the products as regularly as recommended and I’ve always been a loyal Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel fan since I was 12.
The next step is to use the Glow Tonic*. Now, I only discovered tonics a few months ago and didn’t really think much of it until I used this tonic. I did buy the Boots cleansing and toning tonic but all it did was sting a lot if I rubbed it on my cheeks or if I had an exposed spot. Pixi’s tonic is really gentle on the skin and doesn’t provoke any existing breakouts. You can feel it tightening your skin ever so slightly so I suggest using a moisturizer afterward to soothe the skin, I’m still using my trusty Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel one as I can’t seem to find a Pixi one anywhere! I do fancy trying Pixi’s Zero Zit gel, I might need to invest!
